Oral history interview with Rodrigo Vazquez conducted by Nathalie Martinez and Barbara Tabach on May 24, 2021 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project.

Rodrigo was raised in a mixed status Mexican family. He was born in Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of three, later becoming a citizen when he was in the 8th grade. Rodrigo is currently a graduate student worker for the Latinx Voices Oral History Project and reflects on what he has learned. He also discusses what the past year of the Coronavirus pandemic has been like for him.

Oral history interview with Fred Gibson conducted by Maisie Gibson on March 9, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Gibson discusses his Las Vegas, Nevada experiences, his college education, and his various careers in the United States Army and engineering. Gibson then talks about his membership in clubs and organizations, and his memories of early Fremont Street and the Helldorado Parade. He also covers the topics of mining, the atomic testing, economic and environmental changes, and social changes.

Oral history interview with Frank Mathews conducted by Pat Kohlman on December 07, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Mathews discusses his life as a teacher at J. D. Smith Middle School in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1953 to 1975. He discusses traveling through the city during its early stages of growth, employment, and home construction in various Las Vegas Valley locations including Lorenzi Park (currently known as Twin Lakes), Hyde Park, and North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Helen Yu conducted by Andrew Yu on December 1, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project.

Helen Yu discusses her upbringing in Seoul, South Korea, her grandfather's immigration to the United States in the late 1970s, and her family's decision to follow him to Portland, Oregon in 1984. She shares her family's history and their experiences during the Korean War, including what life was like both in North and South Korea at that time. Helen Yu discusses her undergraduate education at the University of Oregon studying graphic design and her graduate education at Ewha Womans University College of Art and Design in South Korea. She shares her thoughts having both a Korean American and Asian American identity, her marriage and two wedding ceremonies to her Korean husband, and her family's move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001. Helen Yu concludes with a discussion of her event planning work which led to her current role as the Operations Manager at the Emerald at Queensridge in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Kenneth Bedrosian conducted by Ann Fredrickson on April 29, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Bedrosian discusses his upbringing in Rhode Island and educational background. He then discusses his move to Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1970s and his first teaching position at Rancho High School in 1973. He then discusses his transition to administration with his move to a Dean’s position at Clark High School, before becoming principal at Cimarron-Memorial High School in the early 1990s. He also discusses his job duties as principal, training development, challenges that he faced as an administrator, and his views on contemporary trends within the Clark County School District and the United States educational system. He also discusses challenges that administrators face, such as school violence and overcrowding, and his suggestions for principals to be successful administrators in light of these challenges.

Oral history interview with Harriet Trudell conducted by Shannon Beesley on February 26, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Trudell begins by describing her early history in St. Petersburg, Florida, including her education and lobbying for labor unions. She discusses her career working for the presidential campaigns during the 1960s and 1970s. Trudell describes Nevada as a conservative state, and explains what she means saying Nevada was the "Mississippi of the West." Trudell also discusses working for Nevada Governor Mike O'Callaghan, the Democratic Party, her ancestors who fought in the American Civil War, and prominent moments in United States political history. Trudell concludes by describing her involvement in the women's movement and why she felt it was important.

Oral history interview with Leroy Payne conducted by Claytee D. White on January 29, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Payne discusses working for Lockheed Overseas Corporation during World War II and his construction career in Las Vegas, Nevada. Payne describes traveling around England while employed by Lockheed Corporation and performing procurement duties for United States military bases. He also describes meeting and marrying his wife in Belfast, Ireland in 1943. Payne concludes by discussing their move to Las Vegas during the 1960s and his work in housing development constructing different neighborhoods and communities.
