Oral history interview with Shirley Allen conducted by Nancy Hardy on June 21, 2003 for the Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Allen discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her family and starting dancing professionally while attending university. Her first job was at the Riviera in 1964, working as a showgirl. She explains that the work was not difficult and they were not asked to do anything inappropriate, but they did have to pay for their own cocktail dresses and accessories. She also explains that she was a "covered dancer" in the beginning but by the late 1960s she had to "uncover" (work topless) to be employed. She then talks about working in Pzazz! '68 at the Stardust Resort Hotel and Casino, after auditioning for Fluff LeCoque, Donn Arden's company captain. She also talks about her impression of Miss Bluebell and Donn Arden. She spends some time talking about what life was like backstage, relations between the girls, and meeting celebrities, her first experience with topless dancing in Lido de Paris, and how the backstage dressing areas were assigned and the difficulty of fast changes between sets. Later, she talks about things that can go wrong, from forgeting choreography to the more serious issue of the HIV/AIDS epidemic that swept through the shows in the 1980s.

Oral history interview with Aldeane Ries conducted by Jennifer Meskimen on April 21, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Ries reflects upon her nearly 40-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District. She discusses the process by which she became an administrator, her approach to school administration, and her regular job responsibilities as principal. She describes changes within the school district over her 40-year career, cultural diversity among students and staff, and the importance of maintaining relationships with parents and students. She also offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration.

Oral history interview with Ferren Bunker conducted by Debra Leu on July 02, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Bunker discusses early above-ground atomic tests, the economy, employment, environmental changes, life during World War II, and his heritage as a native Nevadan pioneer.

Oral history interview with Edelweiss Solano conducted by Cecilia Winchell, Jerwin Tiu, and Stefani Evans on August 25, 2022 for the Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Solano discusses her childhood in the Philippines and later studying business administration in college to help her family's business. Solano met and married her husband, and the couple moved to the United States for work opportunities. In addition to volunteering for a number of organizations, Solano works for the Asian Community Development Council (ACDC) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout the interview, Solano touches on cultural celebrations, the immigration process, her parents, and the biggest issue facing the AAPI community today.

Oral history interview with William W. Boyd conducted by Theresa Bradley on February 26, 1981 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. Boyd discusses his involvement in the gaming industry of Las Vegas, Nevada. Boyd talks specifically about his experiences with five-card stud poker and his introduction of poker games without dealers to the poker room. Boyd also talks about his role as poker room manager at the Golden Nugget and how he was present to open the room when the casino first opened.

Oral history interview with Walter V. Long conducted by Tracy Tillander on March 24, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas.
