Description
Interviewed by Nathalie Martinez. Laurents Bañuelos-Benitez also participates in the questioning. Luis F. Valera serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs at UNLV. His heritage is from Venezuela and Cuba. He has served as the Chairman of the Latin Chamber of Commerce and has been an active member of the Latino community since his pursuing his undergraduate degree at UNLV in Political Science and his Juris Doctorate degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law. His various achievements in the community and nation led him to become recognized and awarded the Arturo Cambeiro Hispanic of the Year Award in 2011.

Abstract
The Army Mapping Service Aerial Photographs of Southern and Western Nevada (1952-1956) consist of approximately 2,080 black-and-white high-altitude aerial survey photographs of Southern and Western Nevada. Two projects are represented; 109-G, covering sections of Southern Nevada and 160-BH, covering a section of Western Nevada. Also included are five composite photograph indices created from the detailed survey photographs, four index sheets showing the project locations in Nevada and other projects in the western States, and five photocopied images of composite photographs of several cities in Nevada.

On February 16, 1979, collector Elaine Broniecki, interviewed local Clark County School District teacher, Pamela Calos Hicks, (born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 23rd, 1946) in her home in Las Vegas, Nevada. This interview covers Hicks’ recollections of Las Vegas from 1955 to 1979. Hicks’ also lists the addresses of where she has lived within Las Vegas.

Description
On March 15, 1981, LeGary Stowers interviewed Victor Givens (born 1958 in Las Vegas, Nevada) about his profession in the gaming industry, specifically as a table games dealer. Givens first talks about his family background and then talks about his educational, occupational, and residential histories. He then talks about the various qualities required of individuals who work in the casino industry, his beliefs regarding religion and gambling, and some of the motivations and goals that are present for those within the field of gaming.

Description
On July 3, 1975, Robin Wright interviewed Doctor Nancy Leveque (b. 1933 in Oak Park, Illinois) about her time living in Las Vegas, Nevada. The interview covers, among many wide-ranging topics, Leveque’s move to and away from Las Vegas, her career as a veterinarian, and the practice she and her then-husband built. Leveque also discusses how the city of Las Vegas has changed-environmentally and socially-, special interest groups and social activities, as well as natural phenomena. Throughout the course of the interview, Leveque provides anecdotes about prominent figures and old Las Vegas traditions, such as Helldorado.
