Oral history interview with James Stover conducted by Robert Filmer on March 31, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Stover discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1953 to work in construction. Stover then describes his most recent occupation, pest control, and describes the kind of work that goes into pest control. Stover later discusses problems with living in a desert and the difficulties of floods in a desert environment.

Oral history interview with Elwood Schmidt conducted by Claytee D. White on and November 14, 2018 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Schmidt discusses his upbringing and early interest in medicine. He talks about working for the United States Public Health Service, interviewing Emergency Medical Service (EMS) ambulance drivers, and writing Nevada EMS: A History of Emergency Medical Services in Nevada. Lastly, Schmidt discusses providing medical care to Native American populations.

Oral history interview with Xniea L. Baird conducted by Larry Holcomb on April 04, 1976 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Baird discusses her early life and growing up in Goldfield, Nevada. She talks about the devastating Goldfield fire of 1923, flooding in the area, and mineral mining. Baird describes Esmeralda County, Nevada when it was mostly tent houses, and the increase of population in Goldfield at the time.

Oral history interview with Betty West conducted by Claytee D. White on May 10, 2008 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, West discusses growing up in Blue Diamond, Nevada. She describes the work her father, Mark West, did at the mines and recalls the Village where mine workers and their families lived in the 1950s. West discusses her employment at the Sahara Hotel in the 1960s as a slot girl and later as a cocktail waitress. Lastly, West talks about the changes in Blue Diamond, and eventually moving to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Marvin Frisk conducted by Roger Tyndall on April 02, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Frisk discusses his career in aviation with United Airlines at McCarren International Airport.

Oral history interview with Amber Allan conducted by David Schwartz on December 21, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Allan discusses the kinds of disputes that are handled in certain supervisory positions within the gaming industry. She also discusses the topic of hold percentage as it relates to slot and video poker players. Allan then talks about free slot play and the concept of ticket-in, ticket-out.

Oral history interview with Midge Innis conducted by James Thomas Griffin on May 8, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. The two discuss her occupational history as well as how she met her husband. Innis discusses the changes inside casinos and gambling.
