Oral history interview with Sydney Wickliffe conducted by Claytee D. White on February 01, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Wickliffe discusses her childhood in both Long Beach, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. She also discusses working as an auditor for the Gaming Control Board, then as deputy chief. Wickliffe then talks about her position as director of Nevada's Department of Business and Industry and serving as a member of Governor Kenny Guinn's cabinet.

Oral history interview with Ruby Thomas conducted by Craig Hawkins on October 05, 1973 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Thomas discusses her career as a teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada and being member of the Retired Teachers Association. She then describes social and environmental changes, and the construction of Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam). Lastly, Thomas recalls the population growth and casino development in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Mabel Rhea conducted by Patricia van Betten on April 09, 2011 for the History of the Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. Rhea discusses her birth in Fairmont, West Virginia, as well as her nursing education. She describes serving in France during World War II as a nurse. She details moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1949, and then to the Blue Diamond, Nevada in approximately 1952. She describes the post office, shopping locations, and her neighbors in the Village.

Oral history interview with Melvin Carter conducted by Claytee D. White on October 12, 2000 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: A Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Carter begins by describing his family history, his father's experience in World War II, and his parents meeting in Chicago, Illinois. Carter describes his family's move to Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 1950s. He goes on to describe businesses on the Westside, including the Cove and the Brown Derby. Oral history interview with Steve Keener conducted by David G. Schwartz on October 07, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Keener discusses his background in the slot positions at Tropicana Hotel, in Atlantic City and the Dover Down Hotel in Delaware. Keener also discusses the expansion of video over stepper, server-based gaming, and the increase in riverboat gaming. He also mentions the role of free play, skill-based, and 3D gaming being introduced into slot machines.
