Oral history interview with Fiona Kelley conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on March 21, 2009 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Kelley discusses being a cover dancer in Hallelujah Hollywood at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also discusses becoming licensed in massage therapy and becoming an acupuncturist and a herbalist.

The collection is comprised of captured websites and Twitter data related to the mass shooting that occured at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 1, 2017. Captured websites are primarily comprised of articles and news stories from local, national, and international news media outlets. Websites were captured periodically from 2017 to 2018. The collection also includes Twitter data associated with the October 1 shooting that were captured via concurrent queries to the Twitter API for all Tweets containing the term “vegas” occuring September 29, 2017 to October 7, 2017. Also included are files containing tutorials for how to curate and analyze Twitter data which reference the 1 October Twitter dataset for illustrative purposes.

Oral history interview with Mary Noblitt conducted by Mary Sawdey on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Noblitt discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada and building housing in the southern part of town. Noblitt goes on to discuss communication through railroad and morse code. Lastly, Noblitt discusses the above ground atomic tests.

Oral history interview with John L. Houck conducted by Perry L. Smith on March 14, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In his interview Houck discusses his childhood growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada during the 1950s. He additionally discusses his job working for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a motorcycle patrol officer.

Oral history interview with Shirley Helmick conducted by Lyle Helmick on May 12, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Helmick discusses her personal history, occupational history, and reasons for moving to Nevada. She also explains events that the United Methodist Church hosts.
