Oral history interview with Pat Skorkowsky conducted by Russell Holmen on March 29, 2007 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Skorkowsky reflects upon his career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). In this interview, Dr. Smith reflects upon her 24 years as a school administrator in Nevada’s Clark County School District. She discusses her approach to school administration, describes her regular responsibilities and challenges, and compares her responsibilities between middle and high school. She also discusses teacher evaluations, and different challenges associated with evaluations and standardized student testing.

Oral history interview with Leora M. Wilcox conducted by Alex D’Andrea on January 14, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wilcox discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1945, and shares her disappointment upon arrival. Wilcox also describes what it was like to live in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada while efforts for World War II were taking place. Wilcox later describes some of the most noticeable changes throughout Las Vegas, as well as the construction of Boulder (Hoover) Dam.

Oral history interview with Harold Wadman conducted by Dennis McBride on December 21, 1986 for the Boulder City Library Oral History Project. In this short interview, Wadman talks about running away from his childhood home in Ogden, Utah at the age of thirteen. He explains how he hitchhiked to Nevada, bypassing Las Vegas and reaching Boulder City, Nevada in the middle of the night. He explains how he worked odd jobs before a brief employment at the dam site as a waterboy; possibly the youngest person to work on the dam.

Oral history interview with Mary B. Cooke conducted by Gigi Arino on March 18, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. During this interview Mary B. Cooke discusses previous jobs, personal family history, education, and the growth and development of the city.
