Lucille Bruner founded the Las Vegas Art League in 1950 after she moved to the city from Santa Fe, New Mexico. When the City of Las Vegas bought the Twin Lakes Lodge in what is now Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas, Nevada the Las Vegas Art League requested and obtained three buildings in which to teach and display art. The Art League became the Las Vegas Art Museum (LVAM) n 1974.
The Las Vegas Art Museum relocated to the Sahara West Library and Fine Art Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997. They remained in operation until 2009.
The Los Angeles office files of H. I. (Horace Ingersoll) Bettis series (1901-1941) contains material relating to the establishment of Las Vegas, Nevada and the Las Vegas Land and Water Company; materials related to the Empire Construction Company that built the San Pedro, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake Railroad line; and financial information and accountancy materials created by the railroad's general auditor, H. I. (Horace Ingersoll) Bettis.

The Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center Records (1971-2018) mainly consists of correspondence, event planning documents, financial records, subject files, and newspaper clippings created by or related to the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center and the Nevada Governor’s Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust. Materials document educational conferences, remembrance events, and student field trips; curriculum planning, involvement with the Clark County School District, and educational materials about the Holocaust and other related historical events; and grant and fundraising activities. The collection also includes photographs and proclamations.
