Oral history interview with Loreta Monson conducted by Jon J. Howard on March 01, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Lee discusses his life working a variety of occupations including farmer, rancher, and hoist engineer for mines in Caselton, Nevada. Oral history interview with Jim Henderson conducted by Joyce Moore on July 16, 2006 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Henderson discusses his employment at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and remembers the fire in 1980. He talks about the reconstruction of the hotel, becoming a cocktail server, and the community of casino and hotel workers in Las Vegas during the 1980s and 1990s.

In this interview Donald Moyer describes coming to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1965 to serve as the president for the university. He discusses getting regents, community members, and the faculty and student body to recognize the needs of the University. He also discusses trying to establish UNLV as a separate entity from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Oral history interview with Richard Hooker conducted by Claytee D. White on June 10, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Hooker discusses his work as an artist and cultural practitioner for the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs. He recalls his background in political science and his employment with the Nevada Arts Council. Hooker then describes the projects he was involved with, including preserving neon signs and the formation of the Neon Museum.
