Original townsite homes and apartments sit along West Basic Road in downtown Henderson across from the government complex. Built in 1942, the homes were designed as temporary housing for workers employed at the Basic Magnesium Inc. manufacturing facility constructed during World War II.

Cloudrock Court trails off towards the sunset in the upper section of the Ascaya luxury home lot development. Infrastructure for Ascaya, carved into the McCullough Mountain range in Henderson, Nevada, was completed with materials mined from the site.
