The early Las Vegas, Nevada historical materials series dates from 1905 to 1980 and is comprised of visual materials that reflect the development of early Las Vegas, aerial photographs of Las Vegas in 1976, photographs of early built structures, newspaper clippings, and books.

The Arnold Shaw personal papers (1927-2002) contain correspondence, appointment books, awards, photographs and material from his early days as a teacher. School records, scrapbooks and memorabilia are also included.
