Wilcox joined the Lovelock Volunteer Fire Department in 1974 and became an EMT later that decade.

Wilson moved to Elko, Nevada in 1988 after serving in the military as a field medic. He took the EMT training course to re-certify. Wilson worked in mine rescue in the Elko area as well.

In 1991 Wilkening was recruited as the first female member of the Lovelock Volunteer Fire Department in Lovelock, Nevada. She took fire instruction in Fallon, Nevada, and EMT training in Lovelock.

Winters took EMT training in 1986 in Tonopah, Nevada, and began running on the ambulance service. In 2005 she became an EMS trainer in Nye County.

Bounty joined the Boulder City Volunteer Department in Boulder City, Nevada in 1976 and became a professional fireman in 1979.
