Oral history interview with Margie JoAnne Corderman conducted by Leora Cohen on March 11, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Corderman discusses Six Companies Inc. houses, swamp coolers, pollution, and Boulder City, Nevada locals having to commute to Las Vegas, Nevada and Henderson, Nevada for work. Margie also discusses working in Clark County, Nevada as a Deputy Assessor, engineering aid, planning technician, planning director, and engineering technician.
Oral history interview with Jack W. Cornell conducted by Richard Fesler on February 18, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Jack Cornell discusses historical buildings in Nevada, his experiences as an airplane mechanic for the Army Air Corps during World War II, the effects of the Great Depression, when he assisted an air escort for President Franklin Roosevelt, when he witnessed one of the atomic tests, and how the rural area in Manhattan, Nevada has changed over time.

Counts first talks about her early life in Las Vegas, Nevada, including her educational background and some of the recreational activities in which she took part. Oral history interview with Susan Cowan conducted by Andres Moses on January 31, 2006 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Susan Cowan discusses growing up in Kansas City, Missouri, and always enjoying tap dancing. She then discusses working as a secretary at the University of Colorado-Boulder and becoming the lead administrator for the chemistry department there. She also discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband and getting involved with the local tap dancing community.
Oral history interview with Ralph Denton conducted by K.J. Evans on January 10, 2000 for the Las Vegas Review-Journal First 100 Oral History Project. Denton first talks about his personal friendship with Governor Grant Sawyer, their education in law school, and his eventual work on campaigning for Sawyer after he became governor. Denton then speaks about working as Sawyer’s adviser. Toward the end of the interview, Denton describes his work on improving civil rights and some of the challenges that came with that.
