G. Norman Christensen, M.D. oral history interview, approximately 2012 to 2013

After completing his residency at the University of New Mexico, Christensen moved to Ely, Nevada in 1968. In 1969, he began conducting training exercises for emergency situations. Christensen serves as medical director for the county system and for the Ely City fire and ambulance service.

Curtis serves as a member of the Professional Rescue Instructors of Nevada to train first responder groups in Nevada. Curtis moved to Virginia City, Nevada in 1958 and worked for the Silver City Fire Department and the Virginia City department.

A native of Yerington, Nevada, Diede joined the Hawthorne Volunteer Fire Department in 1969. He stopped working for the ambulance service in 1976.

Ron Drake oral history interview, 2013 January 31
Level of Description
Scope and Contents
Drake joined the Clark County Fire Department in 1966 and then again in 1971 after returning from military service. During the 1970s he helped establish the rescue test for the department. He retired in 1996.

Larry Dunton oral history interview, approximately 2012 to 2013

Scope and Contents
A native of McGill, Nevada, Dunton began managing a group of physicians in 1962. In 1973, Dunton began EMT classes, and by 1982 had begun teaching the classes. He performed ambulance duties until 1993.

Elliott arrived in Tonopah in 1980 when he was assigned to a nearby Air Force site. He joined the ambulance service and received EMT training from the Air Force
