The Anna and Jo Pitney Personal Papers are comprised of materials documenting the lives of Anna J. Pitney and her wife, Jo Pitney, a long-time Las Vegas lesbian couple. They were together since 1955 and traveled together often. The collectionIt includes correspondence, news clippings, photographs and photograph albums, travel notes, and a memoir of their lives written by Jo.

Oral history interview with Dr. Andre Denson conducted by Zaid Haddad on April 27, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. Oral history interview with Carol Bumgarner conducted by Kelly Fawcett on November 16, 2009 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. Oral history interview with Bernadine Brunson conducted by Aaron Louis Koshan on March 02, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Dr. Brunson reflects upon her 33-year career within the Michigan public school system as a teacher and administrator. She describes how following retirement in Michigan, she decided to move to Las Vegas, Nevada. Upon moving to Las Vegas, she became a principal with the Clark County School District, and also taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She discusses the differences between public school systems in Michigan and Nevada, and what she believes are the strengths and weaknesses of both.

Oral history interview with Marjorie Conner conducted by Christine Schaeffer on April 18, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Conner reflects upon her more than 30-year career in education, with the most of her career being an administrator with the Clark County School District during the 1980s and 1990s. She discusses challenges that she often faced as an elementary school administrator, and the challenge of opening new schools. She describes the differences between starting at an established school and establishing a new school, and how such experiences shaped her philosophy of education. She also reflects upon her time as assistant principal, principal, and regional superintendent, and discusses the different job responsibilities associated with each position.

Oral history interview with Alan Bowman conducted by Erik Peluso on October 23, 2008 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Bowman reflects upon his roughly 30-year career as a teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1970s to the 2000s. He discusses his decision to pursue school administration, and challenges that he frequently faced.
