McCandless joined the Yerington, Nevada Volunteer Fire Department in 1979. He has made ambulance runs with the department as an EMT.

Mohler received a degree in biology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He began working for AIDS Ambulance at age 19. In 1977 he began teaching CPR classes, and in 1980 he became an EMT. He became an RN in 1985 and began flying for St. Mary's Hospital's Care Flight.

After managing an air ambulance service out of Denver, Colorado, Miller moved to Reno, Nevada to manage the new helicopter ambulance service that began in 1980.

After working as a nurse in Hawaii, Moore helped start a paramedic service in Reno, Nevada in 1977. In 2000 Moore joined Care Flight and has been active with developing emergency standards for the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Nelson started taking EMS classes in 1985 and became an ambulance operator in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Morrison moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1953 and was employed as a nurse. She became a head nurse of the emergency departments of Memorial Hospital and Valley Hospital. In the 1970s she pursued certifications in CPR training and taught until her retirement in 1987.

Nowicki began EMT training in 1978. He started working in pre-hospital medicine in Reno, Nevada in 1979.
