Local news reports on Stardust showgirl image on the outside of a Western Pacific Airlines plane. Footage shows the showgirl whose image is used (Aki who performs in Enter the Night) posing next to the plane and a small group of people gathered inside the airport for the reveal. Jim Seagrave (Stardust Marketing) explains how the photograph was taken, then sent off to a company to be made into a vinyl wrap for the plane. B-roll of the Aki, the Stardust showgirl whose likeness is on the side of a Western Pacific Airlines plane, poses on the wing. Video switches to inside McCarran Airport, where a small ceremony celebrating the plane's reveal, including dancers and singers from "Enter the Night", including Marva Scott. Stardust executives, showgirls, and others board the plane for its inagural flight. Showgirls, dancers, and singers from "Enter the Night" walk up and down the plane's aisle while information about them is read aloud. Next segment is interview with Aki who describes the feeling of having her likeness on the side of a plane. He first explains how to play craps, then mentions that there are free gaming lessons Monday through Friday at the Stardust. The next game is blackjack, then he explains how to cash out with the cashier. The third game is baccarat, and then he moves on to Caribbean stud, paigow poker, Let-it-Ride, and then shows a VHS tape training video that he has created and is for sale in the gift shop. He moves on to explain many other games, including: roulette, keno, racing and sportsbook, progressive slots, and then advertises the Stardust Slot Club membership program. Reporter states that while 10,000 people went back to work today, the threat is not over. A brief interview clip with Jim Arnold (Local 226) says the he "have to take them on", them being the Boyd Group and Sam Boyd. Union Workers will be locked out at midnight tonight when the contract expires with Boyd Group. Reporter standing outside Stardust says there are busses waiting outside Boyd properties that will be used to bring in replacement workers. Steve and Elaine Wynn sit with Jon Ralston and Paula Francis for a special interview discussing plans to demolish the Desert Inn and build an 'indeterminate number" of new hotels. Talks about how the west side of the Strip has a "front" but no back (bordering the I-15 and Industrial Road, and while they are practical they are not aesthetically pleasing. The Desert Inn property, located on the east side, is off Paradise Road which is an important commercial street, and the Desert Inn property is on valuable property. Wynn explains how there is enough space for two Strip hotels, and located across from the high-end retail in Fashion Show Mall. Ralston asks why Wynn believes building north on the Strip is a good idea, and asks him if Wynn is worried about walk-in due to the area; Wynn is not worried at all about the location of these potential hotels. The reporters ask for details about the future ideas, but Elaine Wynn cautions against revealing too many details. He says the buildings will be close together, but not themed like other hotels and will have more natural lights. He talks about returning some water back into the Valley's water supply and create a "water stadium" with attractions from noon to midnight. Wynn discusses gaming appearing in other states like California, and what that means to Nevada gaming industry. The second segment shows select clips from the same interview.
