After working as a nurse in Hawaii, Moore helped start a paramedic service in Reno, Nevada in 1977. In 2000 Moore joined Care Flight and has been active with developing emergency standards for the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Morrison moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1953 and was employed as a nurse. She became a head nurse of the emergency departments of Memorial Hospital and Valley Hospital. In the 1970s she pursued certifications in CPR training and taught until her retirement in 1987.

Nevin joined the Virginia City, Nevada fire department when he was in high school. He was employed by the Nevada Division of Forestry for fire service from 1974 to 1998. He was trained as an EMT in 1976.
