The amount that companies are allowed to deduct has slowly decreased to 50% in 1993, but Boyd continued to deduct all 100% but was audited. Interview with Paul Dixon (IRS) speaks on the issue, and Rick Darnold (Boyd) explains why Boyd feels it is a safety and security issue and should be allowed. American Gaming Association is paying Boyd's legal fees because it feels this is a wider-reaching issue. Galatz interviews lawyer representing the group who explains the issue in greater detail.
