Oral history interview with Jean McColl conducted by Sam C. Melchiome Jr. on March 01, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, McColl discusses her childhood and family in Searchlight, Nevada and her eventual move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1944. McColl also discusses her education, Boulder (Hoover) Dam, Mount Charleston, Lee Canyon, atomic testing, Las Vegas entertainment, and juvenile delinquency.

Oral history interview with Jeff McColl Sr. conducted by Dennis L. Weigang on March 09, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, McColl discusses his early life moving back and forth between California, Nevada, and Texas before settling in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1925. McColl also discusses his work as a locomotive engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad Company, life in Las Vegas during the late 1920s and 1930s, and industrial and urban growth in Las Vegas.

Elaine McCormick's son, Jim McCormick, was present to clarify information for his mother in the first half, then was the interview subject in the second half. Elaine McCormick discusses life as a homemaker, housewife, and owner of the Green Shack Restaurant after moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from California in 1935. Jim McCormick discusses his early life navigating Las Vegas roads, local entertainers, the weather, and Las Vegas population growth.

In this interview, McCullough discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1931 for employment opportunities at the Boulder (Hoover) Dam. McCullough later goes into detail about the process of building the dam and what it was like to work there. Lastly, McCullough discusses the Las Vegas Strip, the hotels, and entertainers.

McCurdy discusses growing up in the early Westside neighborhood as a boy and his work as a police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). He then talks about retiring after 30 years of service and his following career overseeing the Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Investigations Group at the LVMPD.
