Uehling, Ed, 1940-

Edmund Uehling is a real estate investor, politician, and supporter of the Las Vegas, Nevada gay community. He born on May 15, 1940 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Uehling moved to Boulder City, Nevada in 1943 when the Bureau of Reclamation hired Uehling's father to work in Boulder City as a civil engineer. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in public administration from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Tinana, Marlon Lustre, 1956-

Marlon Tinana is a real estate investor and supporter of the Las Vegas, Nevada gay community. In 1993, Tinana was hired along with Edmund Ueling as managers to transform The Cave Nightclub into a gay nightclub, with the eventual goal of making an LGBTQ+ district in Las Vegas. Tinana and Uehling had experience in managing the Gipsy, a popular gay nightclub in Las Vegas, and also co-owned a gay bookstore, Get Booked, until 1995.

Larson, Mel, 1929-2016

"Mel was well-known for his marketing expertise as executive vice president of Circus Circus properties for 20 years. He was also known throughout the NASCAR community for racing in his early career days and was instrumental in the inception of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Mel was in the U.S. Air Force, which sent him to Luke Air Force Base, where he met the love of his life, Marilyn. He then owned and operated a drag strip in the Phoenix area before coming to Las Vegas and joining the Circus Circus team for Bill Bennett."
