The Howard Cannon Papers (1958-1988) contain the personal, administrative, and legislative papers of Howard W. Cannon, U.S. Senator from Nevada between 1959 to 1983. The collection primarily pertains to Cannon's time in office from the 86th Congress in 1959 to the 97th Congress in 1983. Materials include correspondence, speech transcripts and supporting research material, press releases, reports, memoranda, newspaper and magazine clippings, and Senate voting records. The collection also includes constituent correspondence and casework related to legislative issues such as foreign relations, social security, veterans, tax reform, labor, aviation, nuclear testing and waste, civil rights, and environmental protection.

Ann Valder Papers (1963-1984) include agendas and minutes, programs, invitations, events, and newspaper clippings. The papers are limited to the time Valder spent working for the Review Journal and the Valley Times in Las Vegas, Nevada. The activities covered are her work with Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital and the American Cancer Society.

The Burt and Wilma Bass photographs and programs mainly document the Bass’ involvement in the Jewish community of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as their personal and professional lives. Images date from 1976 to 1987 and are entirely digital.

The Anna Dean Kepper Postcard Collection (approximately 1930-1977) contains postcards and photographic negatives depicting Southern Nevada and California. The images portray Scotty’s Castle in Death Valley, California, street scenes from Southern Nevada mining towns, and Nevada deserts and flora.

The Apolonio Sauceda Scrapbooks (1973-2010) document Apolonio "Loney" Sauceda's acting career and his work with the Nevada Association for Latin Americans (NALA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Two scrapbooks document Sauceda's career as an actor and contain photographs of Sauceda on set, at premieres, with other actors, and depict movie sets at well-known Las Vegas hotels and casinos in the 1980s and 1990s. Newspaper clippings accompany many of the photographs and provide details about locations, major actors, or the producers for each film. The third scrapbook is compiled of newspaper clippings that document the local Las Vegas, Nevada Latinx community and NALA events in the 1970s, ranging from political activism, labor strikes, beauty pageants, and religious gatherings.

The Danny Cassella Papers are comprised of materials dating from 1934 to 1953, focusing on musician Danny Cassella and His Orchestra, who had performances in Las Vegas, Nevada. The materials include biographical information about Danny Cassella, photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, postcards, programs, articles and tune-dex cards.
