The Fercos Family Publicity Collection (approximately 1978-1989) contains newspaper articles, advertisements, and a poster promoting the Flying Fercos, a family of juggling and acrobatic performers who performed in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Dunes Hotel during the 1970s and 1980s. The Las Vegas Board of City Commissioners Records Regarding Water Supply (1927-1940) include correspondence, resolutions, petitions, application for a permit, and newspaper clippings. The records concern water shortages in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada due in part to wasteful water usage and many of the documents refer to City Ordinance No. 247. Several items are signed by Walter R. Bracken, Vice President and Agent of the Company, and A. M. Folger, Assistant Agent.

The Benjamin F. Smith Papers, dated from 1960 to 1969, contains a photocopy of a typed manuscript written by Benjamin F. Smith titled "Lady Luck and I." The manuscript details Smith's life, and focuses mainly on his time in Las Vegas, Nevada and his gambling strategies. The manuscript also contains gambling plays, figures, and charts. The collection also contains photocopied newspaper clippings and a brief biography of Smith written by Larry Evans.

The Eddie Anderson Papers date from 1965 to 2000. The collection contains material from Eddie Anderson’s work as a political and social activist, as well as his radio career in Reno, Nevada. Included are newspaper articles, research notes, correspondence, speeches on political activism and gay rights, video recordings, audio recordings, memorabilia, black-and-white photographs, and color photographs. There is a photograph of Eddie Anderson with President Richard Nixon from 1969.

Oral history interview with Suzie Chenin conducted by Barbara Tabach on September 29, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Chenin discusses her father, one of the first Jewish dentists in Las Vegas, Nevada, and moving there when he was stationed at the Nellis Air Force Base. Chenin also talks about her career as a real estate agent and selling advertising for the Las Vegas Sun newspaper.

The Harvey's Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino series (1830-1995) consists of books, guides, and magazines about gambling artifacts; casino promotional information and photographs, employee information; photocopies of Harvey's coin, token, and check collection; newspaper clippings about Harvey's hotel and assorted artifacts and ephemera including faro boards and case keepers, playing cards and holders, slot machine payoff signs, table-top gambling games, drinking glasses, matchbooks, and other casino merchandise. Also included are notes compiled on U.S. and world casinos and a collection of pre-Castro Cuba postcards collected by Andy Gazsi.

The George Knox Roth Collection (1959-1980) consists of newspaper clippings (including photocopies), magazine articles, newsletters, technical reports and publications, correspondence, notes, and photographs relating to the Atomic Energy Commission, the environmental impact of nuclear testing in Nevada, Nevada mining, Airwest and the Hughes Airport, and other aspects of Howard Hughes’ Nevada operations. The George Knox Roth Collection also includes correspondence and expense reports related to his own company, General Research Consultants.
