Ranch are being installed by the Vawdrey Construction Company, about 1954. Looking to the northwest, Last Chance, Ophir, and Wisconsin canyons are visible in the Toiyabe Mountains, Nye County, Nevada.

The pay telephone, which Jean Carver Duhme had fought to have installed, is visible on the north wall of the restaurant facility.

Ikonen family sitting in (possible 1914 REO) automobile after rabbit hunting. Handwritten inscription on back of image: "1914 Tonopah, Nev. or Round MT, Nev. Jackrabbit hunting. Rheo car? Note ties for jackrabbit hunting. Man next to driver is Oscar Ikonen." Accompanied by a Las Vegas Review-Journal article inquiring about the photo, "Back in 1914. date written on back of this old photo, did men wear neckties even to go rabbit hunting? If anyone can explain this photo -- perhaps from Tonopah or Round Mountain, Nev. -- please call UNLV Special Collections, 739-3252, 9 a.m-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Especially sought is information on auto."
