R. Ian Ross talks about his family moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Los Angeles, California and working at the Sands Hotel and Casino as a busboy. He then discusses starting a law firm with Jerry Snyder and Oscar Goodman, starting his own law firm, serving as an assemblyman, investing in real estate, and serving as president of the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. Irmalee discusses her family moving to Las Vegas from Reno, Nevada, being an active member of various social organizations, and working as a teacher.

Oral history interview with Bradley Rothermel conducted by Claytee D. White on July 31, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Rothermel discusses his career as a coach for the Chicago Cubs and athletic director at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) from 1981 to 1990, as well as the history of the athletic programs at UNLV.

In this interview, Ruff discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Chicago, Illinois in 1954. Ruff also discusses his employment and the environment at the Desert Inn Hotel. Oral history interview with Jack Ruggles Sr. conducted by Donald Parker on March 15, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ruggles describes moving to early Boulder City, Nevada in 1931 as a child due to his step-father's supervisory job at the Hoover (Boulder) Dam. Ruggles describes life in Boulder City and later becoming a construction worker and helping to build the Basic Magnesium Plant in Henderson, Nevada. Ruggles goes on to discuss his career and experiences as a police officer in Las Vegas, Nevada. During the discussion of his career as a police officer, Ruggles describes his participation in maintaining racial segregation in casino properties for casino owners.

Oral history interview with Felice John "Rocky" Russo conducted by Marta Planzo on March 14, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Russo discusses his life and living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Russo describes moving to Las Vegas to work in construction, later becoming a teamster, and making deliveries in several towns in Nevada. Russo also talks about seeing Howard Hughes at the El Rancho Hotel and Casino and Hughes' effect on the town, how Las Vegas has changed and expanded, and the various social clubs in the city.

Oral history interview with James "Sailor" Ryan conducted by Perry Kaufman in 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Ryan discusses moving to Nevada from Montana in 1935. Ryan describes his career as a construction laborer for the Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam) as well as later positions in construction. Ryan also details his involvement in politics and his position in the Nevada Assembly. Lastly, Ryan discusses gambling and the growth of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Lawrence J. Salisbury Jr. conducted by Jay Brewer on April 10, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Salisbury describes life in early Las Vegas, Nevada and Boulder City, Nevada after he moved to Boulder City in 1935. Salisbury describes the small size of the towns and the construction done by workers in the Civilian Conservation Corps. Salisbury also describes how Las Vegas and Boulder City have changed and expanded, as well as his career in the grocery business. Salisbury goes on to discuss what it was like working in the grocery store in Boulder City during the 1930s.
