Ronnow, C. C.

Charles Christian (C. C.) Ronnow moved to Nevada in 1868 when his father, C. P. Ronnow, was called by the Church of Latter-day Saints leader Brigham Young to settle the Moapa Valley. C. C. Ronnow attended Brigham Young University and served as bishop of Panaca, Nevada in 1884. He also served as a schoolteacher.

Allen R. Glick is the former owner and chief executive of the Las Vegas, Nevada gaming company Argent Corporation (Allen R. Glick Enterprises). During the 1970s, Glick and his company were an alleged front for mobsters in Chicago, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Previously a real estate lawyer and businessman in San Diego, California, Glick was first issued a Nevada gaming license in 1974.

Fisk, O. J. (Oliver James), 1873-1960

Oliver James (O. J.) Fisk started his career working in mines in California and Nevada. He later became an engineer on the Lake Arrowhead Dam project in California, and went on to be the general manager of the Boss Gold Mining Company in Goodsprings, Nevada until resigning in 1917. He remained a director of the company, and operated the Singer Mine near Goodsprings from 1916 to 1918 with S. E. Yount.
