Oral history interviews with Thalia Dondero conducted by Suzanne Becker on March 10, 2008 and August 22, 2008 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Dondero opens her interviews discussing why she became involved with the Las Vegas, Nevada Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and eventually the Nevada State PTA. Dondero then describes her work with the Girl Scouts and her election campaign for a seat on the Clark County Commission. Dondero also discusses Las Vegas city development and how the city has flooding issues. Later Dondero discusses her membership in the Las Vegas Junior League and her work throughout the state to supervise the living conditions of foster care children. Lastly, she describes her experience as a commissioner working to ensure various goods and services were available to the community.

Oral history interview with John Hirsch conducted by Shannon Morrison on March 20, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Hirsch discusses his personal history, experiences in Las Vegas, Nevada, and his thoughts on the types of changes the city went through since his move to the city in 1937.

Oral history interview with Mary M. Laub and Bill Laub, Jr. conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee White on September 15, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Mary and Bill Jr. recall their Southwest Gas Company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bill Jr. discusses the natural gas and propane delivery systems in Clark County, Nevada and the MGM and Hilton Hotel fires.

Oral history interview with Norma and Gil Schwartz conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee White on September 22, 2017, October 04, 2017, and February 14, 2018 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the three interviews, the couple describes Gil’s leadership in the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), properties that he’s built and developed, and purchasing blueprints of un(der)developed parcels in Las Vegas, Nevada on behalf of Howard Hughes's land agent, J. Herbert Nall.

Harlig discusses the Chabad of Green Valley, the Las Vegas, Nevada Metropolitan Police Department Police Chaplain, and the public Hanukkah menorah at District in Green Valley.

Oral history interview with George Kavanaugh conducted by Iolanthe Bruton on February 25, 1973 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kavanaugh discusses arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada and taking part in politics and gambling. Kavanaugh later talks about the Magnesium Plant in Henderson, Nevada as well as the atomic bomb testing.

Oral history interview with Elizabeth Kelly conducted by Jeff DeLoca on April 02, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kelly discusses arriving to Southern Nevada from Scotland in the 1920’s. Kelly also talks about early life in Las Vegas, Nevada and the growth of the city.
