A native of Hawthorne, Nevada, Ferrell joined the Mineral County Fire Department in 1977 and took EMT training in 1978. He worked for both the US Navy base in Hawthorne and the MCFD.

Fletcher was interviewed by Elwood Schmidt for Schmidt's book "A History of Emergency Medical Services in Nevada Oral History Project."

Foster is chief of the Walker Lake Fire and Ambulance Department. He worked for the California State Fire Marshall's Office until 2010.

A native of Reno, Nevada, Gillenwater began working for the Truckee Meadows Fire Department starting in 1984.

Giller was raised in Reno, Nevada, where his family owned AIDS Ambulance. He worked as a dispatcher before earning his EMT certifications in the 1980s.

Gilliland became an ambulance driver in 1985 before gaining EMT certifications. He served in Nye County for 25 years.

After graduating from Bonanza High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gunter worked for Mercy Ambulance. He later worked as a paramedic at the Mercury Test Site, which helped pay for medical school at the University of Nevada.
