Joanne Imprescia was born in Keokuk, Iowa to parents Ernest Ellis and Lilian Bishop. She came to Las Vegas, Nevada in August of 1951 and discusses the growth of Las Vegas and the social climate of the 1950s. Imprescia worked as a hairdresser. Her first husband was Robert Madura, and her second husband (deceased at the time of her interview) was Joseph Imprescia.
Tyrone Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1956. Williams arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1957. He began working at UNLV in 1978 and became the facilities supervisor.
