Morgan, William, 1964-

William Morgan was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1969. Morgan entered the slot industry early by becoming an instructor at his father’s gaming school which provided instruction on slot and arcade repair and maintenance. His start in the gaming industry was in 1989 when he became a slot technician at the Imperial Palace. Morgan would later move to the MGM Grand as a journeyman slot technician in 1993 and eventually to the Stratosphere in 1996 as shift lead slot technician.

Giunchigliani, Chris, 1954-

Chris Guinchigliani was born November 27, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. In 1978, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and began teaching at the Clark County School District. She involved herself first in the teachers’ union; eventually serving as president of the Nevada State Education Association from 1987 to 1991. Guinchigliani and her Husband Gary Gray are longtime residents of the John S. Park Neighborhood and she was among those who originated the idea of getting a historical designation for the community.

Arum, Bob

Bob (Robert) Arum is the founder and CEO of Top Rank boxing promotions company in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in New York City, Arum is a former attorney and a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He promoted his first fight for Muhammad Ali in 1966 and moved Top Rank’s headquarters to Las Vegas in 1986. He has produced countless fights in the city and helped to make it “The Fight Capital of the World.”

Wasserman, David R.

David R. Wasserman was born on December 3, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey. In 1966 he graduated from Rutgers University with his bachelors in Zoology. In 1970 he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation he served two years of active duty as a captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps at Nellis Air Force Base.

Wolf, Natalie

Natalie Wolf was born and raised Jewish in New York City. She met her husband Rowland (Ron), also a New York native, on a blind date. They married in 1959 and settled into raising a family. Two of their three sons, Mitch, Kelly and Jamie, were also born in New York. They were ages 6 and 3 when the family moved to their new home on the desert in 1971. Unwillingly to move without a job, Natalie and her husband Ron were receptive to her sister Rita Park’s suggestion that the couple join her in the management of the Greyhound Bus Station.

Baskow, Jaki, 1951-

Jacqueline “Jaki” Baskow was born in 1951 and grew up Jewish in Camden, New Jersey where her father was a murder victim; her tenacious effort to find the perpetrator included the help of celebrity detective Joe Schillaci. She has worked with a colorful array of A-list entertainers and events in her successful business, Baskow and Associates. She came to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1976. For over forty years she has worked in celebrity talents brokering, planning events, and in production services.

Michael Jay Shane grew up in Kew Gardens in the Queens borough of New York City, New York. Shane graduated from High School of Performing Arts and later attended Peabody Conservatory of Music before leaving to launch his full-time entertainment career. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1995. He played piano at Wynn's Tower Suite Bar, Bootlegger, and Italian American Club.

Coletti, Cynthia, 1938-

indy Coletti, founder of Sun West Custom Homes, began her career designing custom homes in Florida and Colorado before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. Coletti founded El Rancho West Homes in Florida in 1976 before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado in the early 1980s. Her son, Dan Coletti, the principal designer, took over operations of Sun West Custom Homes in 2001 after her retirement. Over the years Coletti and Sun West Custom Homes have won a number of achievement awards and have been highlighted in construction and architecture magazines.
