Tyrone Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1956. Williams arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1957. He began working at UNLV in 1978 and became the facilities supervisor.
Gene Collins was born to Gertha and Isaac Collins in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Gene's mother relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950's with his sisters but Gene stayed in Louisiana with his grandparents until college and then migrated to Las Vegas in 1966. Gene and his family lived in West Las Vegas which at the time was a thriving community due to segregation on the Strip. Gene worked as an operator's engineer at the Nevada Test Site and later trained as an engineer.
Joseph Wilcock was born in Michigan. He attended Washburne Culinary Institute and University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Wilcock worked at various Las Vegas, Nevada casino properties in vasious facets of the gaming industry.
Michael J. Signorelli was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was raised in Rhode Island. He arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada at Nellis Air Force Base in october 1969. Signorelli built the Mesquite Star hotel and casino.
Patrick Gaffey was an Ohio native, but moved to Las Vegas as a child. He eventually because a supervisor for the Clark County Parks & Recreation Department. He then obtained his Masters Degree in English and Allied Arts Council of Southern Nevada, founding its acclaimed magazine, Arts Alive in 1981.
Elaina Blake grew up in Port Orchard, Washington. She married at seventeen years old and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada that same year. She started in positions at the Sahara Hotel and Casino, and then the Thunderbird. She eventually started working in real estate and became a developer. Blake was president elect for the Chamber of Commerce in 1984, and served on the Clark County Planning Commission.
