Arthur Sharpe Townsend was born to Winnie and James Townsend on November 8, 1923 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1947 and worked in gambling and security. He died on July 27, 1995 in Las Vegas.
Robert Montgomery Tubb Jr. was born to Kathryn “Kitty” Marbaker and Robert Tubb on May 16, 1906 in Crown King, Arizona. The family lived in Ash Meadows, Nevada and operated a general store and other shops at Death Valley Junction. His parents divorced, both remained in the area. He married Lorraine Joyce McHenry in 1932 in Los Angeles, California. Tubb later returned to Nevada and lived in Ash Meadows. He died on August 30, 1980.
Dorothy Loheding was born to Bertina Shoemaker and Fred Lohrding on January 16, 1894 in Kansas. She married Claude W. Thompson (1890-1973) in 1919. They later lived in Caliente in Lincoln County, Nevada. By 1940, the couple lived in Las Vegas where Claude worked as a brakeman for the railroad. Dorothy Thompson died in Las Vegas on October 9, 1981.
Fern S. Olive was a Las Vegas, Nevada elementary school teacher. She was born September 24, 1895 in Minnesota. Olive later married Wilford Clay Olive on June 5, 1928 and lived in Las Vegas for sixty-five years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Olive died July 16, 1992.
