Moss, Corinne "Corky", 1924-2001

Corinne “Corky” Moss (née Wollman; April 22, 1924 – 2001) was a philanthropist involved in establishing and supporting multiple educational and community efforts in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the daughter of Murray Wollman, a Las Vegas landowner and developer, and his wife Agnes. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1936, where Moss graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1941. She graduated from Stanford University in 1945 and married Melvin S. Moss in 1946, with whom she had two daughters.

Blaine C. Benedict, born June 3, 1948, spent his early years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until the family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in the early 1950s. His parents, Alvin and Jayne Benedict, followed his paternal grandfather, Meyer (Mike) Benedict, who was involved in gambling and liquor businesses.

Kaufman, Jerry, 1935-2015

Jack Kaufman (September 3, 1935-August 2, 2015) was a Las Vegas lawyer and judge. Kaufman was born in Cleveland September 3, 1935. He graduated from the University of Arizona where he earned his Bachelors in engineering. He also attended Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah where he received his Masters in business. Kaufman completed his education at the California Western School of law where he was awarded with a Juris Doctorate. Kaufman moved to Las Vegas in 1965 as a government lawyer for the Nevada Test Site.

Kishner, Irwin, 1933-2017

Irwin Kishner was born in 1933 in Brighton Beach, New York and lived there until he was 13 years old, when the family relocated to Miami, Florida. Irwin graduated from high school and went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1954 and his law degree from the University of Miami in 1958.

Entratter, Jack, 1914-1971

Jack Entratter (1914-1971) was an executive and show producer at the Sands Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1952 until his death in 1971. He is credited with elevating the quality of shows produced on the Strip and helping the city become the "entertainment capital of the world." Entratter moved to Las Vegas in 1952 as a co-owner of the Sands Hotel. He produced the hotel's shows and served as vice president (1952-1960, 1967-1971) and president (1960-1967).
