Randy Walker was born in Boulder City, Nevada. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah. Walker worked for the Exxon Oil Company in Houston, Texas and then returned to Southern Nevada to work in his first government job as a budget analyst for

Clark County.

Viola Johnson was born October 12th, 1921 in Fordyce, Arkansas. Johnson moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1942 and lived in a tent. During her interview, she describes working conditions for maids and the Culinary Union strikes between 1969 and 1984.

Reed Robert Phelps was born June 1, 1903 in Idaho. He later moved to Southern Nevada where he worked at Blue Diamond Mine. He married Stella Mason in 1927. Phelps passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 1, 1985.

Elsie Elvina Jorgensen was born on November 7, 1897 in Utah. She later married John Edgar Whipple on April 4, 1935. The Whipples were active members of the Mormon Church. Elsie passed away on March 30, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Francis Lorin Ronnow was born on June 23, 1909 in Panaca, Nevada. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1928 where worked worked as a hoisting engineer during the construction of the Hoover Dam. Ronnow passed away on July 24, 1987.
