Irving Kirshbaum (1909-1980) worked for Willie Alderman and Dave Berman at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1955 until the 1970s. Kirshbaum was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and lived in Los Angeles, California before he moved to Las Vegas in 1955. He worked as a "box man and a floor man" at the Riviera.

David Straus was born November 11, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Joyce Straus, an artist, and Neil Straus, a doctor. After graduating from Clark High School, he attended the University of Arizona and then Whittier Law School. Deanna Stefanelli was raised in Justice, Illinois with two younger brothers. She married to her husband, John, on October 18, 1970 in Lagrange, Illinois. As Stefanelli and her family moved around the country, she worked on her undergraduate degree, which she finished at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) while working in the administration department at the library. She retired from working in library administration in 2010.

Stewart, Janzon

Janzon Stewart was born on October 24, 1935. Stewart's grandfather William T. Stewart brought his family to Alamo, Nevada in 1901. His grandfather was an important official with the Union Pacific Railroad and eventually ended up running an old ranch that the railroad owned. This ranch was run by Stewart's grandfather and father, and was a memorable place from his childhood. Stewart did not run the ranch with his father, but instead became a lawyer.

Koury, Lee, 1932-

Judge Lee Koury was born in Los Angeles. He worked as deputy sheriff in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and was involved in the Charles Manson case. He moved to Missouri, where he worked as a deputy sheriff, taught law enforcement, became the United States Marshall for Missouri, and became a municipal judge-criminal court judge in Boone County. He retired to Las Vegas in 2010.

Isabella Jessie Curtis was born February 26, 1922 in Monroe, Wisconsin. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when she was 25 years old because her husband had a job as a cook in a restaurant called the White Spot. She worked as a waitress in multiple casinos throughout Las Vegas, including the Tropicana Hotel, the Showboat Hotel and Casino, and the El Cortez Hotel.

Martin, Tom, 1944-

George Thomas Martin III, or simply Tom, was born February 19, 1944 in Hollywood, California. His family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1951 as his father took on a variety of entrepreneurial opportunities. Martin graduated from Rancho High School in 1962 and worked as a secretary. He married his wife, Donna Giuffre, on March 12, 1988. He spent many hours volunteering with the homeless and the elderly.

Muscelli, Emilio

Emilio Muscelli was born in Italy, moved to America in 1948, and landed a job at the Copacabana nightclub in New York City, New York. His boss Jack Entratter, brought Muscelli to Las Vegas, Nevada when he opened the Sands Hotel and Casino in 1952. Emilio worked as a maitre d' for many years, mostly at the Sands. He was friends with Bobby Darren and Cary Grant and met many other celebrities.

Brown, Gregory S. (Gregory Stephen)

Gregory Brown came to Las Vegas in 1998 to take a postion teaching history at UNLV. His future wife Jessica, who is the Web Portal Content Coordinator at UNLV, had lived here off and on as a child and moved back to Las Vegas in 2000. They bought a home in the John S. Park Neighborhood in 2002.

Sigrid Oas Capel (b. March 09. 1950 in Ely, Nevada) lived in Ely, Nevada from 1915-1920 and 1923-1940, Various cities in California from 1940-1959, and Las Vegas, Nevada from 1959 untill her death in 1986. Sigrid's occupations include Agricultural Extension Service, Executive Secretary for the Gaming Control Board, and Executive Secretary to Board of County Commissions.
