Lopez, Luciano Acevedo

Luciano Acevedo Lopez was born on January 11, 1930 in Harshaw, Arizona. Luciano married Frances on July 3, 1948 and they had four children: Julian, Eddie, Oscar, and Irene.

From 1985 to 1993 Lopez was a miner for the Nevada Test Site.

Larry Neese was born on August 26, 1929, in Ulysses, Kansas. Larry married Donna on March 6, 1966, and they had six children: Sandra, Clifford, Weston, Terry, Donnie, and Kerr.

Neese was a contractor for the Nevada Test Site and Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Company (REECo).

Sowder, Elmer Jesse

Elmer Jesse Sowder was born on January 4, 1923, in Amarillo, Texas. Elmer married Jeanie on February 14, 1996, and they had four children: Carol, Cheryl, Kerry, and Kay.

Sowder attended Texas A & M College and was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

Sowder worked as a test director for the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in affiliation with the Nevada Test Site.

Campbell, Robert Martin, Jr., 1930-

Robert "Doc" Martic Campbell Jr. was morn on May 24, 1930 in San Diego, California. Robert married Jeanne C. on June 25, 1957 and they had two children: Robert M. Campbell and Richard M. Campbell.

Campbell obtain his GED and has an extensive military background.

Campbell was affiliated with the Nevada Test Site as he was attached to the BuMedUnitOne as a junior hospitalman for the United States Navy in the Bio Medical Unit.

Peluaga, Hank (Henry Aloy)

Henry Eloy Peluaga was born on November 21, 1927, in Eureka, Nevada. Henry married Lola on July 16, 1950, and they had three children: Henry, Steven, and Sherry.

Peluaga was enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Peluaga was a shifter walking boss miner in affiliation with the Nevada Test Site. Peluaga had previously been employed as a sheepherder, truck driver, cowboy, bartender, and race car driver.

Campbell, John (John Frederick), 1943-

John Frederick Campbell was born on July 1, 1943 in La Jolla, California. Campbell has four children: Brandi, Kimberly, Johnna, and Keawe'.

Campbell was an engineer and mining superintendent for Reynolds Electric and Engineering Company (REECo) and as a government employee at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) for a combined 27 years. He was involved in the planning and construction of many tunnels that were used for atomic testing.

Whitley, Lewis H.

Lewis Whitley was born in Washington, Texas, but moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1946 to live with his grandfather. He met his wife June at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and they married in 1955. They moved to a home in Las Vegas in 1958. He worked as a cook at the Nevada Test Site and was a a fire hydrant inspector for the Clark County Fire Department until his retirement in 2007.
