Robert M. Fisher was born on July 25, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He grew up on Nellis Airforce Base and joined the United States Navy serving as a 3rd class boatswain mate. He was a technical illustrator and a senior draftsman for the underground atomic testing at the Nevada Test Site.

Erik McBride Thompson was born in 1957in the United States.
Thomason was in the Peace Corps Micronesia from 1979-1981. Thompson earned a bachelor of arts degree (1979), a master of arts degree (1982), and a master of business administration degree (1984) from Stanford University.
Thompson frequently protested the Nevada Test Site and is a former board member for the Nevada Desert Experience.

David Alan Buer was born on October 25, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas.
Buer is affiliated with the Nevada Test site as a Franciscan brother and as a former staff with NDE. At the time of his oral history interview, Buer was working with homeless and migrant people.
Buer took two years of college at Southwest Missouri State.

Colbert’s work history consists of being a program director and office manager with the Nevada Desert Experience; an environmental engineer registered as a professional engineer in Nirth Carolina; an ordained priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada.

Charles McWilliam was born on December 26, 1950, in Pasadena, California. Charles married Katie on January 15, 1993, and they had four children: Charles Jr., Rebecca, Amy, and Jamie.
McWilliam was a professional engineer and employed by Application Engineering Company (AEC), Energy Research and Development Administration (ERDA), and the Department of Energy (DOE) in affiliation with the Nevada Test Site.
