David Alan Buer was born on October 25, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas.
Buer is affiliated with the Nevada Test site as a Franciscan brother and as a former staff with NDE. At the time of his oral history interview, Buer was working with homeless and migrant people.
Buer took two years of college at Southwest Missouri State.

Lafayette "Lafe" H. Dana was born November 4, 1915 in Thayne, Wyoming. Lafayette married Shirley Dan on June 30, 1941 and had five children: Dennis, Gayle, NolaJane, JoAnne, and Lynette.
Dana has twelve years of education.
Dana is a retired Live Stock Research Assistant for the Nevada Test Site. Dana was also formally employed as a farmer and power plant operator.

Erik McBride Thompson was born in 1957in the United States.
Thomason was in the Peace Corps Micronesia from 1979-1981. Thompson earned a bachelor of arts degree (1979), a master of arts degree (1982), and a master of business administration degree (1984) from Stanford University.
Thompson frequently protested the Nevada Test Site and is a former board member for the Nevada Desert Experience.

The Archaeo-Nevada Society is a non-profit southern Nevada organization (founded in 1966) that focuses on the practice of archaeology, preservation of Nevada antiquities, and educating the public on archaeological research. They work closely with local archaeologists and provide scholarships for students majoring in anthropology or archaeology.
