He was born September 5, 1917 in Dallas, Texas and died June 27, 1989 in Portland, Oregon. His last name is often misspelled Beutel instead of Buetel.

Robert M. Savini was a theater owner, film producer, distributor, and founder of Astor Pictures. Born in Huntington, New York on August 29, 1886, Savini moved to Florida in 1925 seeking movie production sites. He founded Astor Pictures in 1933, and managed twenty-six subsidiary companies underneath Astor Pictures. Savini died April 29, 1956 in Islamorada, Florida.
Neil Steere McCarthy was a corporate and film industry lawyer who worked as an attorney for Howard Robard Hughes Jr. for seventeen years, as well as a Vice President in the Hughes company during World War II. He was born May 6, 1888 in Phoenix, Arizona and died July 25, 1972 in Los Angeles, California.
