Steven Parker grew up and went to school in Connecticut. His only sibling was finishing a post doctorate at Yale and had accepted a job at one of the California State schools when his life was tragically ended through suicide. Parker graduated from Assumption College in Massachusetts with a bachelor's in political science and got a scholarship to the State University of New York at Albany. About halfway through his Master of Public Administration degree, the dean encouraged him to go on for his doctorate.

Jillean Williams grew up in England and moved to Manhattan, New York while she was working for an American company. This is when she met Joseph Williams, then playing with the Count Basic Orchestra, while staying at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Resort. She married Joe Williams, they were together for 42 years until his death in 1999. They both moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1968.

Eldon G. Cooper was born on May 15, 1922 in Overton, Nevada. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1940. He was a grocery clerk, a retail clerk union worker, and a route salesman.

Nel Downing was born in Louisiana. Downing came to Nevada in October of 1946. Her son was born in 1947.

Chris Ramirez was born on November 04, 1972 in Pueblo, Colorado. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1973. He is the owner and producer for Lola Pictures and Silver State Production Services.

Henry L. Regan Jr. was born March 09, 1948 and was raised in New York. He grew up a tough kid who often tried to fill the shoes of his absent father. Regan, with his mother and younger siblings, arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958 when he was ten years old. Regan joined a gang and survived the surrounding violence during the 1960s and 1970s—during what he describes his time as a “wild” teen on the Westside of Las Vegas. With the help of caring people and spiritual guides, Regan escaped his addictions and intense path.
