    The Art of Thank Vou
THANK VOU is the ultimate expression that acknowledges someone's kindness and thoughtfulness.
THANK VOU is about all the little details in life and our ability to accept the gifts of caring and love, no matter how big or how small
THANK VOU, when thoughtfully planned, is both a joy and a meaningful experience. How you choose to thank someone becomes a way to express your uniqueness.
THANK VOU is a two-way street. Inner satisfaction can come from taking the time to tell someone else that he or she is special.
WHOM ARE VOU GOING TO THANK?
    Parents Sisters/Brothers Grandparents Relatives Minister
Teacher Mentor Friends Co-workers Store Clerk Employer Scholarship Donor Workshop Presenter Others...
Make a daily project - Think of four (4)people to thank each day for__________.
    1. 2. 3. 4.
THANK VOU - Dos and Don’t!
J Make the thank-you match the gesture... Notes, gifts,
■/ K thank-you is always appropriate, no matter how big or how small the action.
•/ Be timely with the thank-you, the sooner the better. Make it your goal to send a written thank-you note within a week, no later than four to six weeks.
■/ Be specific with your thanks. Example: "I really appreciated the greeting card you sent me for my birthday." Or, "Thank you for the beautiful necklace you sent me for graduation. I will think of you each time I wear it."
    J Add your personal touch.
V Plan ahead. Thanks for birthday gifts, academic awards, graduation gifts, prom activities, athletic events, others...
•/ Involve others when possible. Set an example for your peers by involving them in giving a thank you to______.
J Use the THANK VOU motto and be prepared. Have cards and small items available that you can make.
