Intermountain Cluster Report Theta Theta Omega Chapter November 3,2001
The 2001 Intermountain Cluster was held on Saturday, October 20, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The host Chapter was Upsilon Beta Omega Chapter. Our chapter was represented by Sorors Sharon Savage, Celeste Rayford, Billie Rayford, Lavonne Lewis Verlia Hoggard, Quin Rivers, and Kaweeda Adams. ’
Theta Theta Omega was recognized for its achievement in the targets of Health as the first recipient of the Cornelia Hanis Banks Health Award and our work with the ON TRACK program. We were also well represented by Soror Celeste Rayford and Soror Levona Williams of Kappa XI in a presentation on What Makes Undergraduates Tick? Running and Effective Chapter Like Clockwork. ^^9 u
Soror Diana Shipley provided regional reports from the Regional Committees and vanous sorors from our chapter and other chapters assisted with presenting the reports. Items for discussion included recommendations to the Constitution and Bylaws. The recommendations will be sent to chapters for duplication. Soror Kaweeda marked the proposed changes in the Constitution and Bylaws booklets. Also, the sorority is proposing a Code of Ethics. Copies will be provided to the sorority.
The Cluster held a luncheon and Upsilon Beta Omega presented “The Tater Sisters”. Soror Lazette Hale was at the Cluster meeting and is looking forward to coming to Las Vegas in February. Soror Diana Shipley provided closing remarks and thanked sorors for their participation.
