Thanksgiving Basket Drive
Final Report For 2000
,! 1. On Friday, 17 November members of Theta Theta Omega (especially the Thanksgiving Committee) met at the base chapel to put together food baskets for needy families.
2.
Together we put together baskets for 16 families. Each person in attendance took baskets home with them that night and delivered them throughout the city the next morning.
3.
The total cost of the baskets was $290.63. $75 was paid up front from the chapter leaving a balance of $215.63.
4.
I learned many valuable lessons from heading up this year’s drive that I will be happy to share for next year. The most valuable lesson was how much I can rely on my sorors when things don’t go quite as expected.
5.
My thanks to the committee, to sorors who helped out Friday night, and for all the encouragement I received during this process.
Respectfully Submitted,
