Four Hundred Fifty-Five Students Cast Ballots at
1 H. P. Fitzgerald Elementary Schoo!
On November 7, 2000 at H. P. Fitzgerald Elementary School, four hundred fifty-five (455) students cast their ballots in the Kids Voting 2000 Project. Twenty-two members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority joined the 500+ volunteers who participated in the Kids Voting project in Clark County. Fitzgerald was the polling site adopted by Theta Theta Omega Chapter. Thank you to Soror Yvonne Walker, Principal of Fitzgerald and the fine staff at the school for their assistance and guidance. Kudos to the following sorors for their assistance on this most rewarding project: Kaweeda Adams, Rhoda Anderson, Irma Brooks, Jacki Brown, Ouida Brown, Shirley Carroll, Tanya Flanagan, Jacqueline Hall, Patti Hester, Wilhelmina Lee, Lavonne Lewis, Carolyn Parks, Terri Polite, Maxine Porter, Sami Randolph, Celese Rayford, Tina Rimmey, Donnyss Rucker, Sandra Stewart-Bass, Diane Stith, and Pendelita Toney.
