The committee would like to propose the following;
Awards - For the Arts & Humanities awards we will be presenting Oscar Robinson with the award for his contributions to the Las Vegas area. Oscar has presented various plays such as; The Cabaret, The Dreamer and Pearlie. Oscar spends a great deal of time in the West Las Vegas Library.
Sponsorship- The committee would like to sponsor the play The Cabaret, by Oscar Robinson at the West Las Vegas library. We would host a press party and assist with publici® as well host the play August 7, 8, and 9th.
We would like to see if he would hold a workshop for the youth discussing the importance and history of African Americans in tire Arts.
Motion: I would like to move that we sponsor The Cabaret play in August as a program
target.
