    SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE REPORT April Z, 1993
    The Scholarship Committee met on March 30, 1983, at the home of Soror LUilla White. Those in attendance were Sorors Jo Ann Weddle, Sharon Savage, Loueda Minley, and Angie Armstrong.
    Schools represented in the applicant pool were Bonanza, Chaparral, El Dorado, Green Dailey, Southern Neuada Uocational Technical Center, Dailey, and Western. Each Soror read and rated the fifteen (15) applications based on the following criteria: Need, Honors, GPA, Extracurricular Activities, Special Talents, Autobiography, and Letters of Recommendation.
    The committee recommends that the following outstanding young ladies receive an Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship in the amount of $500 each:
    Creary, Barbara Douglas, Sonya Mason, LaQuetha Washington, Nicole
    Dailey
    El Dorado
    Dailey
    Green Dailey
    Letters will be written to the Scholarship Counselor at participating schools to thank them for their participation and to encourage their continued support of this program in the future.
    The committee further recommends that we host a reception to recognize the applicants and to recognize graduating daughters of Sorors. We request that $100 be approved for this reception and that this event take place on Sunday, May 16 at ___________________________atp.m.
