Theta Theta Omega Chapter Regular Meeting September 11, 1993
On June 26, 1993, the fundraising committee held Part II of the Spring Cleaning Sale. The results were as follows:
Garage Sale Profits $ 125.25
Expenses 0.00
Total Profits $ 125.25
The fundraising committee met on August 26, 1993 to discuss the details of the final, most profitable activities, the calendar and the New Years Eve Dance.
CALENDAR
Money for advertisements needs to be turned into the Ways and Means Committee no later than November 6, 1993. The soror who sells the most dollar amount in advertisements will receive a free $ 50.00 dinner for two gift certificate.
Letters have been sent out to approximately 85 businesses. Those sorors who have subscribers they have sold to in the past, need to begin collecting money and ads at this time.
If you have any recipes you would like to submit, please contact a member of the Ways and Means Committee.
NEW YEAR EVE DANCE
Sorors the New Years Eve Dance is going to be exciting!
We have set up the following tentative schedule to organize the dance.
1.
The first letter for the dance will be distributed the week of September 6, 1993.
2.
Tickets will be distributed at the October meeting. Each soror will be responsible for selling at least two tickets($ 25.00 each). Tickets will be due in midOctober.
3.
Advertising will begin in November/December via radio, newspapers, network bulletins, etc. We will also have voice mail set up for dance dates and ticket information.
4.
The room has a capacity of 250 people(seated comfortably). Breakfast will include the following: Chilled juices, cereal, milk, eggs, potatoes, ham, sausage, biscuits, muffins, french toast, and coffee.
