Do you like your school, but I am sure you cannot help liking it. I attended the Summer school in Beaver, and had a lovely time, indeed. I think Bro. Brimhall one of the nicest men I have ever met.
I have spent three winters of my short life away from home and the only recompense is being away farther than ever the coming one,. It nearly breaks my heart to think of it and I know you will sympathize with me.(?) But I guess it is our lot to baffle with disappointments and misfortunes while we live upon earth, and should do so without complaining and it is only by meeting and facing every thing that seems hard to us that we learn to establish individual character. I sometimes feel ashamed of myself for being so ungrateful
