9215-S-87 Mr. A. S. Halsted: Please see my letter December 31, 1924, quoting from personal letter from Walter Bracken regarding new developments in the water situation at Las Vegas. This proposition was gone over with Mr. Calvin here yesterday and after he discussed it with Messrs. McNamee and Bracken Mr. Calvin instructed that the well be capped in order to control the flow. This work will be undertaken as promptly as possible and when the well is capped it is understood that it will remove any question as to adverse claims to use the surplus water. F. H. Knickerbocker
