    August 23, 1948 W 23-1-31 Independent Plumbing Company 1621 Fremont Las Vegas, Nevada Gentlemen: Application has been received to extend the water mains to and within the new Subdivision known as Crestwood Homes on East Charleaton Boule-vard. The extension contemplates approximately 2550 feet of 8-inch cast iron pipe from the present end of the line at Charleston Boulevard and Chapman Drive, and approximately 2650 feet of 6-inch cast iron pipe to serve Blocks 1 and 2 within the tract. The water main is to be installed in ac-cordance with AWWA Specifications, with cement joints and at least 36 inches of cover. Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, supervision and other facilities required to construct a com-plete water line in accordance with the above men-tioned specifications; owner to furnish pipe line material and fittings. You will be required to carry Workmen's Compensation and Public Liability & Property Damage insurance with an insurance company designated by the Owner. You will aleo be required to furnish cond for the full amount of your proposal. Cost of premiums on the above insurance and bond will be borne by the Owner. You are hereby invited to submit, on or be-fore August 30th, a lump sum proposal for construction of the proposed water line. Print showing location of the proposed line is available at the office of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company. Very truly yours, General Manager
